My Marketing Work

During my time at the University of Tennessee as an undergraduate and at the University of Maryland as a graduate student, I have partaken in a diverse set of marketing projects. I have also accumulated knowledge and skillsets through my hands-on internship and work experiences. Topics have ranged from Marketing Analytics, Marketing Research, Brand Strategy, Content Marketing, and B2B Sales.

International Market Segmentation Within Global Retailers

  • Created mixture regression models in Glimmix to segment clusters based on collected shopper ratings data
  • Discovered an efficient rollout strategy for a new European retail store

Integrated Marketing Communications Campaign

  • Created a new marketing campaign for a fast-food brand of Pilot Flying (PJ Fresh) with a $50,000 budget
  • Designed a campaign with non-digital forms of marketing to increase brand awareness and sales

Social Media Management for Robert H. Smith School of Business

  • Created an official Instagram account for the Smith School's MBA/MS Admissions Office from scratch
  • Generated weekly engaging content as Instagram administrator
  • Increased new users by 175% in the last 90% days and engagement by 95% - both organically

New Product Development

  • Partnered with Oak Ridge National Laboratories to integrate a new product to maintain winter roads with a $2,000 grant from Haslam College of Business
  • Interviewed municipalities to understand needs and wants for severe winter conditions
  • Won a 2021 R&D 100 Award (most prestigious R&D innovation award)
  • Gained PR for the project & interviewed by local TV stations

Google Ads Campaign for Non-profit Organization

  • Created and managed a Google Ads account for a non-profit organization (Knoxville Entrepreneurship Center)
  • Generated traffic to website blog, events page, and newsletter signup
